Notice is hereby given that a Special Town Meeting of the electors and citizens qualified to vote in Town meetings of the Town of Old Saybrook will be held at the Old Saybrook Town Hall, 302 Main Street, First Floor Conference Room, Old Saybrook, Connecticut, on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. for the following purposes:
- Based on the recommendation of the Boards of Finance and Selectmen, to appropriate $1,241,265 from the Town’s surplus for FY2023 and transfer said funds to an off-budget fund entitled “capital non-recurring” fund 3350.
- Based on the recommendation of the Boards of Finance and Selectmen, to appropriate $2,500 from the Town’s capital non-recurring account for the purpose of purchasing new flagpoles on the Main Street median and transfer said fund to a newly created off budget fund.
