Notice is hereby given that a Special Town Meeting of the electors and citizens qualified to vote in Town Meetings of the Town of Old Saybrook will be held at the Old Saybrook Town Hall – First Floor Conference Room, 302 Main Street, Old Saybrook, Connecticut, on Tuesday, January 24th , 2023 at 6:00 p.m. for the following purposes:
- Based on the recommendation of the Board of Finance and the Board of Selectmen, to approve an appropriation in the amount of $347,200 toward the $500,000 Small Town Economic Assistant Program funded by $317,000 from the Town’s sidewalk fund 3019 and $30,200 from the capital non-recurring fund.
- Based on the recommendation of the Board of Finance and the Board of Selectmen, to approve an appropriation from the American Rescue Plan Funding (ARPA) in the amount of $12,500 for Sandra Roberts, as recommended by the ad hoc ARPA committee created by the Board of Selectman.
